Prof. Lawrence K. Fung, M.D., Ph.D., is the Founding Director of the Stanford Center for Neurodiversity and Human Potential and Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. He founded the Stanford Neurodiversity Project, chairs the Stanford Neurodiversity Summit, and directs the Neurodiversity Clinic. Trained as a chemical engineer at Berkeley, Johns Hopkins, and Cornell, he led drug metabolism teams in the pharmaceutical industry for a decade before earning his M.D. and completing psychiatry residency and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Stanford. His research advances the strengths-based model of neurodiversity across neuroimaging, culturally responsive care, and community-based employment and mental health programs. He edited Neurodiversity: From Phenomenology to Neurobiology and Enhancing Technologies and co-edited the forthcoming textbook Pediatric Psychopharmacology. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and a member of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology.

Dr. Alyssa M. Alcorn, Ph.D., is an applied psychology researcher and lecturer at the School of Psychology and Neuroscience, University of Bristol, UK. Her work focuses on the neurodiversity paradigm, inclusive education, and participatory research methods. She is particularly interested in school-based interventions, and the role of knowledge, attitudes, and stigma in educational practice. Previous work includes the Learning About Neurodiversity at School (LEANS) programme and Belonging in School resource. Alyssa is also interested more broadly in promoting community involvement in academic research, and supporting colleagues to use participatory methods.

Prof. So Yoon Kim, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of Diversity and Special Education at Korea University, where she leads the Korea University Autism & Neurodiversity (KAN) Lab. She received her B.A. and M.A. from Columbia University, and Ph.D. from Boston College. She currently serves as Deputy Editor of Autism in Adulthood and Executive Director of the Korean Association for Persons with Autism, and previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of the Korean Association for Persons with Autism. Her research examines stigma toward autistic people at both individual and societal levels. Using community-engaged approaches, she works to reduce self-stigma and promote autistic agency, develop neurodiversity-affirming training for parents and professionals, and examine societal stigma across cultural contexts and as represented in artificial intelligence. Ultimately, her research aims to challenge ableism and contribute to environments in which neurodivergent people can thrive.
